Welcome to Maple Playhouse. By visiting or placing an order through mapleplayhouse.ca, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. About Us

Maple Playhouse is an online retail store offering educational toys for children across Canada. 

2. Applicability

These Terms of Service apply to all products, services, and transactions made through mapleplayhouse.ca. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

3. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate and up to date. However:

  • Product images are for illustrative purposes. Actual colours, dimensions, and packaging may vary slightly from what is shown
  • Product specifications are subject to change without prior notice, as we are partially dependent on information provided by our suppliers
  • Typographical errors and inaccuracies in product listings are reserved. Maple Playhouse is not obligated to fulfil an order placed based on an incorrect price or description resulting from a typographical error
  • In the event of packaging damage, compensation is limited to a maximum of 10% of the purchase price of the affected product

4. Child Safety

All products on Maple Playhouse include age recommendations and safety guidelines that must be followed at all times. We strongly advise that:

  • Children are never left unsupervised while playing with any toy, regardless of its age rating
  • Products intended for older children are kept out of reach of younger children and toddlers
  • All packaging materials and small components are disposed of immediately and kept away from young children to prevent choking hazards

Maple Playhouse cannot be held liable for injury or damage resulting from misuse of a product, failure to follow safety guidelines, or use of a product by a child outside the recommended age range. Safety certifications stated on product pages are based on documentation provided by our suppliers. While we select our suppliers carefully, we cannot independently verify all certification claims.

5. Pricing

All prices on mapleplayhouse.ca are displayed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.

  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice
  • In the event of a pricing error, Maple Playhouse reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order placed at an incorrect price
  • Free shipping applies to orders over $50 CAD. A flat shipping rate of $7.95 CAD applies to orders below this threshold

6. Orders & Payment

By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete. Maple Playhouse reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or payment issues.

We accept the following payment methods, all processed through a secure SSL-encrypted environment:

  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay

Once your order is confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation does not guarantee product availability. In the unlikely event that an ordered item is out of stock, we will contact you promptly to arrange an alternative or a full refund.

7. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days and delivered within 8–12 business days across Canada. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside our control, including weather conditions or carrier disruptions.

Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery to the address provided at checkout. Maple Playhouse is not responsible for delays or non-delivery resulting from incorrect address information provided by the customer.

8. Returns & Refunds

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Items must be unused and in their original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

9. Warranty & Guarantee

Maple Playhouse stands behind the products we sell. If an item arrives defective or damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.

Warranty does not apply in cases where:

  • The product has been misused, modified, or damaged after delivery
  • The product has been used outside of its intended age range or purpose
  • Damage results from failure to follow the safety guidelines provided

10. Complaints

We take all complaints seriously. If you have a concern about your order, please contact us within 7 days of identifying the issue via our [Contact page] or at info@mapleplayhouse.ca.

We aim to respond to all complaints within 14 business days. If a complaint requires more time to resolve, we will acknowledge your message and provide an estimated timeframe for our full response.

If a complaint is found to be valid, Maple Playhouse will, at our discretion, offer a replacement, repair, or refund.

Reviews displayed on mapleplayhouse.ca may include reviews collected through third-party platforms. These reviews are written by real customers and remain the property of their authors. We only display reviews through a verified integration or with the explicit consent of the reviewer, and we never alter the content of a review.
